EMCEE SHALYNN

Shalynn Hobelsberger is Ms Singapore World 2014 and is a renowned emcee. She has hosted events from Miss Singapore Pageant 2015, to award ceremonies with Deputy Prime Ministers, to Ambassadors, to world renown celebrities like apple’s founder Steve Worzniak, to fun D&D’s with wit and crazy happy fun, where every single person gets involved! She’s done award ceremonies, product launches, auctions, Seminar & Conferences and Media launches that were hugely successful events! She has since released 2 albums. Her first album, All in Good Time (2009) sees her performing exciting covers of jazz classics from Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter, Cannonball Adderley as well as Brazilian classics from the likes of Antonio Carlos Jobim and Maria Rita. It also features 2 track remixes done by producers Kaye and Munir Alsagoff of AlterCopy. This release has gotten the support of Singapore’s radio stations, one of which is Nu-Jazz radio station Lush99.5fm, of which she had several interviews with.

And in October 2010, Dawn toured Mexico with highly esteemed Cuban jazz pianist Gabriel Hernandez. This collaboration lead to a recording session of the duo that following year. Dawn’s 2nd album, Hush Now (2016) is a collection of intimate jazz ballads set to paint both the harsh and beautiful the landscapes of love.

Dawn regularly appears in music festivals, club dates and events in Singapore and around the region, notably The Mosaic Music Festival, Singapore Jazz Festival and Tai Chung Jazz Festival, Olympic Games 2008 (Beijing), Formula One Grand Prix (Singapore), Singapore Fashion Festival, Singapore Youth Olympic Games and The World Gourmet Summit.

Her corporate clients over the years include Tiffany & Co., Guess, Yafriro Watches, Cortina Watches, Lamborghini, Christian Lacroix, Hugo Boss, Electrolux, DKNY, Cartier, Philippe Patek, VISA and Citi Gold, just to name a few.

She has been widely featured on radio, magazines and the newspaper in Singapore and has had endorsements with HTC , Stella McCartney perfumes (STELLA), Sky Fitness Gym and Marc by Marc Jacobs.

She is currently working with her project bands Indigo (Brazilian Electronica), Nimbus (Ambient Post Rock), Magical Jazz Trio (Jazz) and Astral (Experimental) and writing more original music.
